Apres Ski
Poiana has a lively atmosphere and offers an excellent choice of value-for-money
après-ski activities and excursions. The discos are open late.
You can also savour the typical Romanian atmosphere of the Brasov
Citadel with music provided by members of the Brasov Philharmonic
Orchestra or an evening at the Dacian Barn, where gypsy musicians
play as you tuck into a tasty barbecue and hot brandy. Take a half-day
excursion to Bran Castle, the legendary home of Count Dracula.
Costs of excursions are payable in sterling or dollars. Credit cards
are not accepted as payment for excursions.
For non-skiers there is a great range of activities and excursions
available, not to mention Sinaia Royal Peles Castle. |
