Poiana Brasov has 14 ski slopes of various difficulty degrees (one
special run for slalom, an olympic run, three downhill and giant slalom
runs). Lifts in Poiana are 2 large cable-cars, one gondola and several
ski-lifts. The ski passes are cheap and usually outside holidays and
some weekends the lines on the lifts are small enough. |
The average altitude of Poiana is 1030 m, the highest peak Postavarul
is 1803 m. The resort is situated at 178 Km from Bucharest and 12 Kms
from Brasov city.
The area offers many choices for dining, from pizza parlors to elegant
